We aim to redefine education under the notion that all kids have infinite potential and learn differently. Our 6:1 student to teacher ratio provides for engaging and individualized learning and skills acquisition.

Lunch and snacks are prepared daily, often times with students, as they learn where food comes from and healthy ways to prepare it.

Group meals are an important component of the Lumen Life experience as it brings our school community together to learn and practice healthy eating habits, sustainable agriculture and proper food preparation. We engage kids at every stage of the process – from gardening and making cheese, setting tables and chopping vegetables. We serve each other, have great conversations and clean up when the meal is over.
